Two days, 200 societies, all trying to get you to sign up as members and get involved in the coming year – make sure you bring some loose change!
This is where LSE’s huge range of societies will ask you to part with £1 or £2 to join their society, sign up to their email list and hopefully become actively involved for the next academic year.
You’ll find every kind of society there – national, cultural, religious, political, campaigning, departmental, career-orientated and social. From Albania to Women in Business, everything you could ever imagine is there. But don’t just stick to the things you’ve already done – try something new and you never know what you might end up doing! And if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can start up a new society later yourself!
The Students’ Union will also showcase its campaigns – from the Anti-Racism Campaign to the Women’s Campaign – and give you an opportunity to sign-up for them too (and these are also free to all!).
If you miss it, you can sign up later – but this really is the day when you’ll see why LSE is known as the world’s most active student body.
