Get yourself a bank account

September 27th, 2009

Although not the sexiest part of the Orientation Festival, it is still very important!

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday next week the Banking Fair will be continuing.  This is your chance to open up a UK student bank account for those who are without one yet.  Or if you’re yet to get yourself a special student account, then this will be the perfect opportunity too.

The Fair is in the Old Gym, in the Basement of the Old Building.  Just go in the main entrance, go down the stairs on your right, and then turn right at the bottom an you’ll be there.

There are sales assistants giving out information as you enter who will tell you what you need after you’ve chosen the right account for you. Then you can get going on saving (but more likely, spending).

The Banking Fair is NOT a recruitment drive for the banks.  That’ll come later on in the year…

As always, get your Festival tickets here! You can also pick them up from the Quad in the East Building tomorrow.
