Student Comedy Hub

In another universe, where academic intellect is displaced by the art of hilarity, LSE founder George Bernard Shaw  might well have tried to convince the Webbs to join his project with somthing like the following:

“Hmmmm…Let’s us found our new university on a London School of Comics Equation!

6 comics = £4 (+ Free entry to Crush on Firday night worth £5) = 2 hours of comedy à

= 66p each PER COMIC

That’s less than the price of a McDonald’s McFlurry… now think to yourself… would a McFlurry make you laugh quite as much…? I think not…!”

Okay Bernard Shaw…didn’t Beatrice tell you to leave of the whiskey?

Anyway, see our grand opening night video on YouTube.

On Tuesday 6th October 2009, prepare for some of the greatest comics on the UK comedy circuit. Whether you’re a student, teacher, polkadotshorts salesman – as long as you’re human and have a sense of humour (and wear some clothes) you are most welcome to our humble abode.

We act as a club not only to promote young comics but to support the surrounding community, so our profits go to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

This is a fundraising event for LSE Students’ Union
